Sing Jazz Announces Highly Diverse Line-Up: Charlie Lim, Joss Stone, BadBadNotGood.
With the confirmation of festivals such as Laneway Festival, WOAH Fest and Neon Lights, 2016 is already shaping up to be a beautiful year.

2016 won’t leave out lovers of the ethereal, slick, left-leaning genre of Jazz, though – with the Sing Jazz 2016 proving to be just the ticket.
Sing Jazz 2016 will be held over a span of three days, and will see the likes of Jazz fusionists BADBADNOTGOOD, powerhouse soul singer Joss Stone, fusion-soul quartet Hiatus Kaiyote, experimental hip-hop producer Taylor McFerrin, and Afrobeat legend Suen Kuti.
Suen Kuti will be leading his late father Fela Kuti’s band Egypt’ 80, grace the Marina Bay Sands Event Plaza from March 4-6.
The music festival will also see a host of artists flying under the Singapore flag, with, Singaporean electronic label Darker Than Wax, our recently crowned #1 local release artist Charlie Lim as well as Jazz giant Jeremy Monteiro leading the charge.
David Lyndon Smith, co- founder and Artistic Director of Sing Jazz, notes that in this year’s edition of Sing Jazz, a special importance will be placed in “collaborating more with Singapore-based artists”.
A festival for all
Smith says,
The Third edition of Sing Jazz will be more dynamic than ever! We are presenting a more diverse collection of International artists. Our production team is putting an altogether more enhanced festival experience. This really is a Festival for all.
Fans can look forward to purchasing tickets at $65 (4th March), $85 (5th March) and $75 (6th March) respectively.

Although a ‘jazz festival’ at its core, the festival embraces the capricious, ‘restless’ nature of jazz and its influence across other genres of music.
The festival aspires to establish itself as a premier international live jazz- inspired music festival and a permanent feature on the cultural landscape of Singapore.
Bringing together world-class artists at an iconic venue in this vibrant city to harness the creative energy that is the essence of jazz, and indeed of Singapore itself.
