Quick Trio is a group with an appealing sound mix that has been active since 2004. Adaptability has served the group in finding regular venues to play at.

The Quick Trio sound got the group into a regular rotation at Manhattan’s Restaurant in Uptown Toledo. Starting in 2007 through 2013, the group played twice a month.

QUICK TRIO

When Manhattan’s ended their live music policy, downtown Toledo’s Ye Olde Durty Bird secured Quick Trio for monthly gigs starting in 2014 and continuing through 2015.

Quick Trio played Downtown Sylvania’s One2 Lounge 3-4 times a year, 2010-14.

Quick Trio and Jason Quick Solo has been performing at Maumee’s Jazz Club Degage since 2008.

Quick Trio has also performed at various private and public functions at the Toledo Museum of Art. Cocktail Parties, Fundraiser Dinners, “It’s Friday” Live Music Series.

Ye Olde Durty Bird

Summer of 2015 saw Quick Trio performing at Jazz on the Monon in Carmel, IN and the internationally known jazz club, Cliff Bell’s in Detroit.

In 2016, Quick Trio will be playing Degage Jazz Café, Cliff Bell’s, monthly at Ye Olde Durty Bird.

Quick Trio are also working on a new recording of original jazz music.

The latest unreleased recording is a jazz record with JQ on guitar, Steve Knurek on upright bass, Zac Kreuz on drums.
